Petting animals — a living experience for children and adults
One of the most popular features on the campsite is our petting animals. They wander happily around — and they love being petted by both children and adults.
Every summer we welcome new kids, lambs and baby rabbits, and the rabbits in particular are a favourite. There is something very special about sitting with a soft little rabbit in your arms — it's calm, cosy and a lovely break from screens and electronics. The animals are great entertainment for young and old.

Our animals on the campsite
We have several different animals on the campsite: rabbits, goats, sheep — and our two Shetland ponies, Berta and Sofus.

Two areas
The large paddock and the mini-zoo
The animals are spread across two areas:
- In the large paddock by the pond, sheep, goats and ponies roam freely and graze the meadow and the area around the fire-bellied toad pool.
- In the mini-zoo by the playground live our tame goats and rabbits, and you are very welcome to come in and say hello — under adult supervision.
What all the animals have in common is that they are used to people — and they thrive in the company of guests who want to greet them and give them a cuddle.
