Swimming beach

A family-friendly Blue Flag beach

We have a beautiful swimming beach that earns the Blue Flag year after year — the mark of clean, safe bathing water. It’s natural to spend hours on our lovely family-friendly beach.

On warm sunny days a swim is a given, and the children’s buckets and spades are compulsory.

Fishing

Fishing at the coast, pond and jetty

You can cast a line either from the coast or by our pond, and the chances of landing a pike and turning it into a home-made fishcake are good. The water just off the campsite is a particularly popular angling spot.

And when it goes well, we have a well-equipped fish-cleaning kitchen. You’re also welcome to bring your own boat, since we have our own jetty.

Fire-bellied toad pool

A pool for the rare fire-bellied toad

In 2015 we built a new pool to support the East Funen population of the rare fire-bellied toad (Bombina bombina).

Our animals graze around the pool, and it’s a lovely spot to sit on a bench in the dog forest and enjoy the quiet out across the water and Kongshøj Ådal.

Walks

Trails, woods and views across the Great Belt

We have several different trail systems on our own grounds and woodland, and in the woods nearby. That includes our own Viewpoint walk, where you can sit and enjoy the view out across the Great Belt.

Not far from the campsite is a large forest where you can watch Highland cattle grazing on a wide meadow. Another lovely option is walking down to Revsøre, a charming little old-fashioned fishing hamlet.

5,000 m² fenced dog forest

We’ve built a 5,000 m² dog forest, fenced on all sides, where dog owners can exercise their dogs and the dogs can run around freely.
