Petting animals – a real experience for children and adults
One of the most popular features on the site is our petting animals. They roam freely and enjoy themselves – and they love being petted by both children and adults.
Every summer, we welcome new goat kids, lambs, and baby rabbits, and the rabbits are especially a big hit. There’s something truly special about holding a small, soft bunny in your arms – it’s calm, cozy, and a wonderful break from screens and electronics. The animals provide great entertainment for all ages.
We have a variety of animals on site: rabbits, goats, sheep – and our two Shetland ponies, Berta and Sofus.
The animals are located in two areas:
In the large meadow by the marsh, sheep, goats, and ponies roam freely, grazing the fields and the area around the fire-bellied toad pond.
In the mini zoo near the playground, you’ll find our tame goats and rabbits. You are very welcome to enter and meet them – under adult supervision.
All our animals are used to people and thrive in the company of guests who enjoy spending time with them.
